Reached Piedimeggiana, you need to take the path alongside the Church of Pietre Grosse. From here the trail climbs through a thick pine forest and woods of tall trees, to lead us to the Cappella delle Pose, built in the mid-seventeenth century. After a few meters of sloping, and several others of strong descent, you reach the stream that you have to cross. The trail continues in a beech forest, becoming steeper. After just little more than an hour from the departure, you reach the Chiesa della Prapolla. A little less than an hour, continuing along the path, you will first arrive to Alpe Rusa and finally to Meggiana, where it opens the spectacular view of the Monte Rosa.
