Moncrivello territory is situated at the border of Turin province and enjoys a wonderful landscape.
Its Castle has a very old central part, connected with two towers, the majestic fourteenth century quadrangular donjon with manholes and fired ceramic decorated windows and crossed by a carriage entrance with a gothic vault. The west tower is particularly interesting because of its semi-circular layout and its merlons.
The building is made of two floors, connected by an helical stair made of bricks and it includes the halls of the ground floor and the upper rooms, nearly all with coffered ceilings and with a fired ceramic fifteenth century chimney.
Besides the castle, in Moncrivello there is a very interesting parish, rebuilt with a Greek layout on the foundation of the pre-existing one, nearby there is a noteworthy Roman bell tower, Romanic with renaissance elements. In its interior there are several artistic treasures: an important Nativity attributed to Lanino, the Deposition from the Cross of Giuseppe Giovenone, and the Blessed Mary in Egypt, which is supposed to be a sketch of Gaudenzio Ferrari for a fresco of the church of Saint Christopher in Vercelli.
The fifteenth century church of Saint Francis, centre of the Brotherhood of Saint Francesco, was rebuilt during the baroque period and has precious frescoes and a wooden choir.
