At a little distance from Sabbia, near the chapel of San Giuseppe above the town, proceed along a short carriage road that, leaving two other chapels on the left and then the small church of Madonna del Rovaccio, reaches an open area where you will meet a fork in the road, take the path on the right. You will reach the hamlets of Cortaccio and Costabella and then a chapel. The muletrack continues along mild ups and downs, before reaching two bridges. Take the most recent one to reach the hamlet of Montata. Leave the main road that continues to Erbareti and, turning left you will climb up through the woods to reach Alpe Corti. Cross a vast field by walking along the bends up to Alpe Colmetto di Cevia and right after that, to Alpe Campo. Just before the alpine pasture, near a small lake, walks along the steep grassy ridge that separates Val Sabbiola from Valbella. The path runs along the valley on both sides, reaching Alpe Laghetto. Once passed a small pasture the path turns left towards the western crest of the mountain, that you can reach at the top of the stony and steep canyon that comes out of valley of Rimella.
