Livorno Ferraris - Ferraris Civic Museum

Galileo Ferraris, a leading figure in the world of international science, to whom Livorno Ferraris, his birthplace, paid tribute with the opening of a Memorial Museum on the 4 th of July 1931.

Initially set up to preserve documents and items linked with the life of the great scientist and his doctor brother, Adamo, it was reorganised in 1997, flanking the important biographical section, a permanent place for study and activity, with an educational and informative laboratory dedicated to electrical and technical topics.

The same building houses the Historical Archive and Civic Library, thus creating a complete and easily accessible cultural pole.
