The thirteenth hundred Castle of Rive is the testimony of the ancient history of this small town, dominated for a long time by the Tizzoni family. Nowadays it has been transformed into a country villa and until the XV century it was surrounded by a moat supplied with the water of the Roggia Molinara. In the Nineteenth hundred the castle was deeply restructured and, amongst other things, a terrace was added between the two square towers. On the ground floor there is a chapel dedicated to Saint Charles.

The Parish of the Assumption of Mary existed in the thirteenth century already, but it has been rebuilt in modern times. In its interior there is a painting of the Lanino school, the Virgin of the Rosary.
