Fobello - Carestia Tirozzo Museum
Museums
Zona: High Valsesia
One of the largest collections of the work of the Abbot Carestia, a Valsesian botanist: 1000 sheets describing phanerogams and cryptogams, which were gathered, pressed and dried in Valsesia between 1854 and 1900. These pages were given by the Abbot to Dr. Tirozzo and kept by his son, Prof. Pier Ugo, and now are part of the museum donated to CAI.
