This is a small village which rises on a terrace of the river. The houses start to have the architecture structure typical of Valgarande, with many stones at sight, roofs made of silvery stones, balconies of dark chestnut wood.

The baroque church situated in the centre of the village is dedicated to Saint Maurice and was frescoed by Orgiazzi. .

The hamlets spread in the surrounding area host interesting oratories, among which the oratory of the Virgin of the Snow, in the hamlet of Sassiglioli, is noteworthy. This is decorated with an important cycle of eighteenth century frescos representing stories from the Virgin’s life, painted by Orgiazzi as well.

This part of the river is ideal for canoeing, in particular from June to September.
