A muletrack connects the railway station of Bettole with the hamlet of Fenera San Giulio. Keeping itinerary 764 on the left, the path reaches a glade and starts climbing uphill. Continue up to a large canyon to be crossed with great attention for possible rockfalls and slippery sections while trampling. Once reached the peak, turn right towards the Belvedere rock shelter. Follow the stony wall to reach the Karst hollows, the most important of which is Ciota Ciara, open to visit only upon reservation. The path climbs down slightly to an easy climb on the face to then continue up to the 690 metres of the Buco della Bondaccia. The track leads through a Karst dell and keeping right it climbs up to the woody area, up to intersection with track 768 to be followed for a short tract on the left before it turns right again. Walk as far as the saddle that separates the two mountain peaks. Keep right for a hundred metres and reach the large stone Cross placed on top Cima Bastia.
